- I used to live in Munich, and one day when I was missing the place and doing an image search, I was struck by what I thought are the best images of Oktoberfest. What are they? Women in dirndls drinking whole liters (Maß) of beer. They seem to capture all that I loved about Munich: beer, Oktoberfest (and other beer fests) and pretty girls! So here is my tribute. Of course, you can't be at Oktoberfest and drink but one beer you'd get kicked out. I wonder how many she had before the one in the picture. On a related note, go here for some Oktoberfest 2008 gear.

Love the way she's using both hands to really get after that beer. Like drinking Kool-Aid when we were young!
